This is a linear city, which acquires the features of an infrastructure and which therefore finds a beginning and an end with difficulty. Furthermore, the city can be conceived as a group of roads, which intersect and overlap each other to become a modern, urban layout.  A cross-section shows the traditional principle of the tectonic, divided as follows: the basement holds the spaces with sliding volumes; the semi-duplex dwellings are halfway and the second floors of the dwellings (emerging where necessary) are in the roof. 

In fact, a automation system can raise a second roof and a series of sliding walls to occupy the top level of the unit. The various sliding surfaces enable the size of the dwelling to be enlarged and also allow the top floor terrace to be used as an alternative to the customary roof garden.

The communal spaces are on the ground floor and feature exhibition spaces, schools, spaces for the elderly, etc. Vertical distribution systems are also on the ground floor (each dwelling has an elevator, which takes you from the roof to the basement).

There are no commercial spaces. Beneath the disunited dwelling stretches an enormous warehouse, which follows the linear layout of the Disunited dwelling and from which it is possible to deliver everything required for living in the various homes via the elevators (Internet shopping).
